September 20, 2006My boss has ordered me to post these – taken before and after the haircut. I’m fashion retarded, so over many cross-country calls and IMs she instructed me on the verbage I was to employ when in the stylist’s chair: “CHOPPY layers! Framing! NO RAZOR EFFECT!”
Apparently we got it right, since the California Contingent has given the new ‘do her stamp of approval.

I don’t know if you’ll be able to tell a difference between the hair in these two or not, but the bug eyes are in full effect in both. And no, I don’t have a thyroid problem. Unless I can blame my weight gain on it.

I’m so hair retarded, I just say, “Just trim the ends – don’t touch the length.” My hair dresser will usually make some recommendation, which I agree to, whether I understand what he’s talking about or not.

Woo hoo! I love it. Tres pretty. And I get very nervous using hair style speak so that’s why my hair hasn’t changed much (at all) in the last 10 years.

Anyway, you always seem to say timely things that apply to my life. Momo and I just had a student over Monday night, to give us (free, but with a $25 tip) haircuts, and we both discussed how we don’t know haircutting terminology.
The cuts took forever, but we’re both happy; this is the best cut I’ve had in a long time. It looks pretty much the same, but it falls into itself quite naturally.
Now. To go fix my own black roots…

I can’t really say that one look looks better than the other though. So I’ll just say that you look hot in both. Can I say that without a chef coming over to beat me up?
