I've was shocked only once when a complete stranger approached me, and told me he recognized me from my blog and enjoyed the photography. I wasn't on "my home turf," but in the next town over for a class reunion. He was nice, but it did make me stop and think about how I put my photo on the blog, and blab merrily away about where I hang out: "hey! Any crazies, you'll find me HERE to stalk/harass/chop me up." I'm a nonsmoker, but I can totally relate to that "dash more wine" craving. It's why I keep a limited amount of alcohol in the house; there has to be limited dashes! I have a counter and know I get about 90 hits a day, and most of them come straight there (vs referals). I never get more than 30 comments, so who are these people?? I think what weirds me out most is that they find something so interesting about me that they just keep coming back...... I've got to start putting my Christmas stuff up!!! My mother in law showed up on my site recently. It's not like I'm anonymous or anything, but MY mom doesn't know about my blog. Or if she does, she doesn't go to it. I think there's something about being hidded behind the computer keyboard that instills a false sense of security in us or something.
