December 17, 2006A good friend of mine is engaged to a girl who currently lives in Liverpool, and through the magic of MySpace, she and I have gotten to know each other a little (see, MySpace isn’t all bad).
And LOOK! She sent us a Christmas card all the way from England! I love the stamp.
I’m easily entertained.
Wow – I’m impressed that they were able to deliver it with your name and address smudged like that! ;-)
At one point in my life, I wanted to live in Liverpool and marry my favorite player on their soccer team.
Oh well.
The Queen Mum does make a good stamp doesn’t she!
We got a Christmas card from Australia, and the person who wrote it put, “Card Only” on it because postage is cheaper than if it were a letter.
My husband thought this was hilarious-did she put it on there so we wouldn’t be disappointed when we opened it and didn’t find any money?
