saddening referrals

A couple people got here by searching for “how do I know if I married the right person” and someone else came after typing “I’m in my first relationship and I’m scared”.

I can hope that the people scouring the internet for the first query are looking casually for confirmation that they in fact did marry the right person and not that they’re looking for someone else to tell them that it’s ok to get out of a crappy relationship.  To the other searcher, I wish I had the perfect thing to say to you.  Relationships can be scary.  Just make sure you stand up for yourself, respect yourself, and if he (or she) is making you do something that’s scaring you, get out now.  Find someone you trust and ask for help.  Please.

Both of those referrals make me sad.
