wash, rinse, no repeat

Following the Great Poop Flood of 2003, we spent a lot of time in the crawlspace beneath the house as Servpro replaced our sewage-soaked ductwork and moisture guards.

That was almost four years ago. Wouldn’t you know that about four million spiders and the biggest slug I’ve ever seen have moved in since then? Tonight we stopped in to say hi to our tenants and demand a very delinquent rent check while on our way to revive the water heater’s pilot light. Neither the mission to collect monies owed to us nor to restart a little blue fire were successful.

Since Nashville Gas can’t be here until Monday, we’re going to be taking cold showers and looking extra sexy this weekend. I’ll be sure to post pictures.
