friday blather
October 26, 2007- My friend lent me this game, and I beat it last night with no help from the internet. I’m mighty proud that I figured it out all by myself. But I’m dreaming in Legos. It could be worse, I suppose.
- The 8 year old goddaughter was given a homework assignment on Monday and waited until last night to do it. When I inquired as to why she put it off so long, she said, “Well, since you did such a good job helping me with my reading last week, I wanted to wait until you could do it with me” like I should be super proud of my homework skills (ahem). Ah, they grow up so fast once they learn the power of flattery.
- Because of the homework thing, I missed all my Thursday shows, which was fine since the NBC episodes are on the web site and my co-worker records Always Sunny, so I didn’t freak out too bad. This morning I watched The Office (Oh, D! Brilliant. Mike’s come a long way from Scranton Witch Project and Lazy Scranton), and then went to look for Scrubs, but there’s no full Scrubs episodes on NBC.com. What the hell? I have to find out what happened! Did JD and Smelliot swap spit or what? Don’t answer that. I’ll find that episode by the end of the day if it kills me.

I’m going to hijack the word “blather” and use it to describe the weather here in East Nashvegas today. Just sounds right.
Star Wars Legos rocks! And yes, I think dreaming in Legos is much better than dreaming about killing orcs, which is what I did after playing Return of the King.
Did you get to see Scrubs? Had I read this before now, I’d've been able to offer you a taped from air on VHS copy..but I think it got taped over.
Anyway, it was OK…not great.
