Kate needs to get Lost

The girls who write the best local Lost recaps aren’t real happy with last night’s episode.  I liked it, although the more I see of Kate, the more I get disgusted with her.  She can’t have Jack and Sawyer and everybody’s respect, so I wish she’d give it up and make a friggin choice.  She’s become incredibly boring.

At least now we know what the world has been told about the survivors, that only 8 survived the crash blah blah.  And of course we know that Jack still loves Kate.  Booooooring.  Now, I had read a spoiler in ‘Coma’s comments that Aaron was one of the Six, and that creates a whole buttload of other questions.  I can see Claire giving up her own chance to be rescued to allow her child to be saved, but why wouldn’t Kate give Claire her seat now that she’s been assured by Miles that the world knows who she is and what she’s done?  Why, all of a sudden, is Kate so keen on getting back to the real world?  My guess is, based on her lawyer wanting to bring Aaron to court, is that something happens to Claire and Kate saves the kid and raises him as her own, therefore Aaron would be living proof of Kate’s shining character.  And can you really blame her mom for calling for help?  Nope.

Did y’all notice the wall bending when Locke whipped Ben’s breakfast tray on it?  It reminded me of a Scrubs episode where Doug is beating J.D. over the head with a prop fire extinguisher and it folds a little.  I don’t have HD, so maybe I’m wrong, but it looked to me like the “concrete” wall of Ben’s prison was looking a little flimsy.  That’s nothing important to the storyline, obviously, I just notice stupid shit like that.
