wish list

I’ve got a big fat Best Buy gift card burning a whole in my wallet.  While I could use it towards something expensive, like a bigger laptop battery that’d I’d end up buying anyway, I think I’d rather get a whole buttload of movies.  Movies that are on tv all the time but that I always catch in the second half and never see the beginning or ones that are edited beyond recognition when they’re on TBS.  Office Space comes to mind in the second category, and Overboard is on right now and I friggin love this movie.

Every Sunday afternoon I flip through channels and think “oh, I need this movie” but then forget.  Now I can only think of those two.

Yeah, I’m definitely buying Overboard.

And The ‘Burbs.

And Turner & Hooch.

And Joe vs the Volcano.  Crap, I haven’t seen that in forty years.

And Dragnet.

And maybe something not starring Tom Hanks.
